Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support customers, assist with prescriptions, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

This role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, with the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning as you learn, Mon-Fri, 8:30am–6:00pm, starting 05/10/2026.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired.
• No Maths and English Level 2 qualifications? tests may be required to determine suitability for the course.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship provided with training.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
