Job summary

Colne Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the busy community pharmacy. You will work closely with the team to provide prescription counter services and patient advice while studying towards the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support. Duties include assisting customers at the counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths and English desired but not essential
Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications may be supplemented by tests
Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship training provided
No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided

Responsibilities

Support daily pharmacy operations and customer service
Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
Handle stock, deliveries and keep accurate records
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
Maintain cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service
