An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. This 20-month fixed-term role will support the cancer Pharmacy Team across two locations, focusing on dispensing treatments and essential medicines. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated and friendly cancer Pharmacy Team. The post-holder will support the team in providing chemotherapy and supplementary medicines to patients.
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious individual for the role of Senior Pharmacy Assistant. This is a 20-month fixed-term contract, requiring the post-holder to work across two sites: Royal Derby Hospital (RDH) and Queens Hospital, Burton (QHB).
Your duties will include rotational work between the chemotherapy dispensary and aseptic services.
Successful candidates will need to undertake a Level 2 GPHC-recognised qualification relevant to the role. Full training and development will be provided to support your specialist duties.
This role involves working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
