Job description
Overview

This service manager post will provide the day to day operational leadership and management required for the delivery of all services from Pharmacy Stockton Quality Control Laboratory (SQCL). SQCL is the largest NHS regional QC service delivering services across NENC and to other parts of the UK, including NHS and private customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for all operational aspects of services across the department.
  • Monitor performance through agreed KPIs and ensure staff competence and development for robust delivery of all services.
  • Identify, log, mitigate and manage risks to service via trust governance systems and processes.
  • Provide leadership and management of a team; ensure service delivery is responsive, collaborative and transparent.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sites, with the understanding that work may be required at any site across University Hospitals Tees (North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust).
Qualifications / Experience
  • Ideally has specialist knowledge in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
  • Requires operational expertise and extensive experience in delivery of technical and professional services.
