Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team in the Bristol Hospital. You will dispense medications accurately and provide essential patient counselling within a hospital setting.

Working as part of a well-supported team, you will collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care and ensure high standards of service. Extensive training and opportunities to develop clinical skills are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, addressing questions.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Advise on over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products.

Job Title: Pharmacist Manager (Experience Pharmacist required)
Branch Address: Bristol Royal Infirmary, Upper Maudlin Street, Bristol, BS2 8HW
Salary: Competitive salary with excellent benefits
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Weekend option available)

• Items dispensed per month: 16,000+
• Incredibly well supported team working six pharmacists per day, 30+ staff from ACPT's to trainees

As a Pharmacist in one of Rowlands hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.
