Rowlands Pharmacy in Bristol Hospital is seeking a talented Pharmacist Manager to join our team. You will dispense prescriptions, provide patient counselling, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care in a hospital environment.

We offer extensive training with exposure to hospital pharmacy, 33 days holiday pro rata, a performance-related bonus up to £2,000 per year, a pension scheme, private medical insurance, and life assurance as part of our competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, addressing questions and concerns.

• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.

Salary: Competitive salary with excellent benefits

Working Hours: 45 hours per week,

Monday to Friday (Weekend option available)

• Items dispensed per month: 16,000+
• Incredibly well supported team working six pharmacists per day, 30+ staff from ACPT's to trainees
