Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead and develop a pharmacist team, deliver NHS and private services, and engage with the community. You will oversee daily duties, ensure high service standards, and contribute to service improvements across the pharmacy network.

The role emphasizes leadership, pathway development, and collaboration with healthcare partners, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree holder and GPhC registered.
• Willing to join PVG scheme and undergo DBS check.
• DBS check organised by us before employment.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and NHS/Private services; provide healthcare advice.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train and develop colleagues.
• Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS items.
