Job summary

Morrisons Nantwich store is seeking a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join the team alongside our Pharmacists. You will label, assemble and dispense prescribed medicines, while ensuring safe and compassionate customer care.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you’ll support daily operations, deliver in-store health services and stock control, and ensure all procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality for customers.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (e.g., NPA DAC).
• Committed to enrolling on an approved Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking qualification (e.g., BTEC Diploma Level 3).

Responsibilities

• Put customers first by engaging compassionately and guiding safe use of medications.
• Accurately dispense medicines by labeling, assembling and performing first accuracy checks.
• Deliver in-store pharmacy services, advice and prescription hand-outs in line with procedures.
• Follow SOPs, data security rules and stock routines to ensure availability and minimise waste.
