Job summary

Healthxchange is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to support the smooth operation of its Coventry warehouse pharmacy. You will assist in dispensing and handling aesthetic and pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role reports to the Pharmacy Manager, with shift patterns across the week, and a salary starting at £30,000. A strong eye for detail, teamwork, and knowledge of storage requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or warehouse preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Able to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• NVQ 2 Qualified.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset.
• Familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01)

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments.
• Ensure all items match the accompanying documentation.
• Report discrepancies or damages to internal stakeholders.
• Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations.
• Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular quality checks on stored and shipped products.
• Follow SOPs to maintain product integrity.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Work closely with team members to coordinate workflow.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, delivery personnel and other stakeholders.

Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser

Reports to: Pharmacy Manager

Location: Coventry DC

Salary: From £30,000

Shift pattern 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day with 30 mins unpaid lunch, scheduled either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am and 7pm.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Dispenser who will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our new Pharmacy. Working as part of a high-performing team, the role ensures the accurate dispensing, and the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of aesthetic & pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate should be organized, have a strong attention to detail, and be capable of working in a compliant process driven environment.
