Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician for full-time 35 hours a week (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm). You’ll support the Pharmacist Manager, assist on the front counter, and contribute to a small, dedicated team.

We aim to develop your career in Medicine and Clinical Care, with induction training and potential progression to Pharmacy Technician through NHS Health Careers guidance and in-house courses. Training may take 3–6 months depending on previous experience.

Qualifications

• Induction training via Day Lewis programme.
• Pharmacy assistant course may be required (3–6 months).
• Opportunity to progress towards Pharmacy Technicians via training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in delivering excellent customer service in dispensary and shop.
• Support on the front counter and welcome patients.
• Be an integral part of a small, hardworking team.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.
