Day Lewis Spencers Wood is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our team. The role involves assisting with dispensing, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily dispensary operations. Training will be provided, and the position offers a clear path to progress to Pharmacy Technician.

The role is 12 hours per week with shifts on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am–1:00pm. Day Lewis emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and patient-centered care.

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Spencers Wood is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our team on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take their first step into healthcare and pharmacy. Whether you're completely new to the sector or already have some experience, we'll provide the training, support and development needed to help you succeed. If you enjoy helping people, working as part of a team and learning new skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours of Work

• Tuesday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 1:00pm

12 hours per week - if more hours become available either contracted or overtime you will be first in line to be offered

About The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser, you'll play an important role in supporting patients and helping the pharmacy team deliver safe, effective and high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and customers
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the dispensary
• Assisting with NHS and private pharmacy services
• Building positive relationships with patients and local healthcare professionals
• Maintaining high standards of organisation, cleanliness and professionalism throughout the pharmacy
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding patient care
