Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store. You will support the Pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, giving medicines advice, and helping deliver safe, patient-centred care in a busy retail environment. This UK role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or on-track MPharm first year, and valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with innovations and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
