Job summary

Boots UK is seeking an in-store Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and delivering pharmacy services. You will build relationships with patients, dispense medicines, and offer guidance on health and wellness.

The role requires passing NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or working toward an MPharm and valid UK right to work. UK applicants only; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or currently working towards) and first year of MPharm completed
• Current and valid UK right to work; not eligible for sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe dispensing of prescriptions
• Keep up to date with new store systems and comply with SOPs
• Help patients manage repeats and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste
