Job summary

The Boots Company PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store. You will support the Pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, giving medicines advice, and helping patients manage their medicines safely and effectively.

You will work within the healthcare department, building relationships with patients, learning new systems, and following SOPs to ensure safe, legal dispensing. The role offers development opportunities and a clear path to further training.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
