Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, patient-focused medication services in-store across the UK. You’ll dispense prescriptions, greet customers, and provide guidance on medicines while working closely with the pharmacist and healthcare colleagues.

The role is in-store in the UK, with opportunities for training as a Pharmacy Technician or to progress into leadership, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Completed NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or pursuing and have completed first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
