Job summary

Boots is hiring a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, providing patient care, and ensuring safe medicines handling.

With NVQ2 or progressing toward an MPharm, you’ll work in a busy community pharmacy environment, delivering healthcare guidance and adherence support while complying with SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification completed or in progress with first year of MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. Not sponsorship eligible for Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines; refer queries to Pharmacist when needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with innovations in store and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
