Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking a Dispenser to join our UK stores. You will support pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients on medicines and health choices, helping to deliver safe, patient‑centred care across our pharmacy team.

This in-store role emphasises accurate dispensing, strong patient communication, and adherence to SOPs while contributing to a high‑quality healthcare experience for customers in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.
• Current UK right to work is required.
• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or first year of MPharm

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with in-store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay up-to-date with innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients in managing prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
