Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Dispenser to join the team in our store network. You will assist with dispensing prescriptions, advise customers, and support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers flexible hours, with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week and shifts scheduled within available time windows. Training and development into the pharmacy field are encouraged.

• A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• Ability to build rapport quickly to ensure great customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
• Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
• Handle queries within competence and escalate when needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all SOPs.
• Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at 13.70 per hour, rising to 14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
