Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Dispenser to support everyday pharmacy operations in our store. You will dispense prescriptions with care, advise customers, and help maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Flexible hours and a minimum 16 hours per week are offered, with shifts scheduled in advance. We value friendly, detail-oriented colleagues who enjoy teamwork and delivering practical health solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
• Desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Pharmacy counter.
• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re supporting them with over‑the‑counter product guidance, helping with prescription queries, or knowing when to refer them to the pharmacist for expert advice.
• A positive, team focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.
