Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is recruiting a Dispenser to join a busy store team in the United Kingdom. You will dispense prescriptions accurately, advise customers on medicines and services, and help maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy area.

We offer flexible hours from 12–16+ per week, with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours and shifts scheduled in advance. Experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred, and you’ll be supported to grow within Tesco’s Pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
• A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Pharmacy counter.
• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re supporting them with over‑the‑counter product guidance, helping with prescription queries, or knowing when to refer them to the pharmacist for expert advice.
• A positive, team focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
