Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Dispenser to join a collaborative team in-store. You will accurately dispense prescriptions, offer clear customer guidance on medicines and pharmacy services, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and compliance.

Starting pay is £13.70 per hour, increasing to £14.97 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. The role supports flexible scheduling and development within the Pharmacy field.

Qualifications

Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Supporting the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.

Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.

Providing friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.

Understanding customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.

Handle queries within competence and **escalate** when needed.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.

Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.

Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
