Job summary

Gordons Chemists, Cookstown, is seeking a part-time Dispensary Assistant with Sales Assistant duties to join our pharmacy team. You will support prescription preparation, assist the pharmacist, and provide friendly, accurate service at the counter.

Key duties include stock maintenance, till handling, and contributing to professional standards while working flexibly across Gordons branches locally. Prior dispensary exposure is desirable; eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of prescriptions and delivery of professional services.
• Assist Pharmacist in providing an efficient, accurate and safe dispensing service in store, ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Assist Pharmacist with other dispensary related tasks (orders, date checks, receiving prescriptions).
• Assist on the medicines counter when required.
• Stock maintenance.
• Retail duties as and when required.
• Provide knowledge / up to date advice on product ranges, promotions and offers.
• Accuracy in till transactions and cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain professional dress and grooming.
• General housekeeping.
• Other duties as required.
