Job summary

Asda is seeking a Commercial & Supply Chain Analyst - Pharmacy to own the commercial controls, reporting and supplier analysis underpinning pharmacy buying, margin delivery and implementation.

You will manage deal governance across generics and branded medicines, produce reports, support negotiations, and drive improvements with cross-functional teams in a hybrid working environment. The role supports a dynamic healthcare setting and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial, Buying, Category Management, Supply Chain or Finance, ideally within Healthcare, Pharmacy, FMCG or another regulated environment
• Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing supplier terms, rebates, costs, pricing, margin or service performance
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with complex workbooks and accurate controls
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Proactive, solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail and patient-first mindset
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with resilience to meet deadlines
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with ERP/pharmacy/supply chain systems advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial deal governance across generics, parallel imports and branded medicines with accurate reflection in systems and reports
• Produce and maintain commercial agreement, rebate, cost of goods and supplier performance reporting with audit trails
• Support negotiations with manufacturers and wholesalers through robust cost/volume analysis
• Manage pharmacy price lists, approved product controls and commercial publications with accuracy
• Monitor wholesaler performance, availability, delivery data and reporting commitments; escalate risks and drive corrective actions
• Use data to identify margin leakage, deal implementation issues, invoice exceptions and opportunities
• Coordinate the commercial implementation of new agreements and changes; confirm readiness and delivery into pharmacies
• Build resilient, documented processes with clear ownership; partner with Operations, Compliance and Technology
