Job summary

ASDA is hiring a Pharmacy Colleague in Chatham for a part-time, permanent role. The job involves assisting in-store pharmacy services, processing prescriptions, and helping customers with health-related inquiries in a 24/7 store environment.

You will be trained to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and may progress to a Dispensing Assistant, with opportunities to develop clinical skills while serving customers.

Qualifications

• Be friendly and well organised, with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable discussing personal health topics with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping (BP checks, stop smoking).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors and bring to store for collection.
