A leading company is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague in Andover. This part-time role involves assembling prescriptions, promoting pharmacy services, and providing excellent customer care. Our stores operate 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns. We seek flexible working arrangements to fit your lifestyle. Weekend work is required, and we may need to be flexible with your schedule.
Our in-store Pharmacies are popular and require staff to be friendly, confident, and capable of discussing personal health issues, resolving customer problems, and guiding customers to the right products.
You will be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, promoting pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews), supporting patient services (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation schemes), and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures to meet customer expectations. You will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and prepare them for collection.
We will support your development through an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant, advancing your pharmacy career.
About You
You are friendly, organized, eager to work with your team, possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and providing a great healthcare experience by assisting customers in finding what they need and engaging in friendly conversations.
