Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in hospital pharmacy? Or are you a community Pharmacy Assistant looking for a new challenge? If so, this may be the role for you!

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will perform duties in various areas of the pharmacy department, including dispensary and distribution, to provide efficient pharmacy services.

You must possess an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).

All staff participate in weekend and bank holiday shifts, including late nights.

Main duties of the job
  • Work as part of the pharmacy team in the automated dispensary and ward areas.
  • Stock distribution and medicine management, including goods in and stock control.
  • Replenish automated dispensing robots, prepare ward boxes, and restock ward medicines.
  • Dispense prescriptions efficiently, support dispensary management, and assist with ward dispensing and medicine delivery.
