An established NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Assistants to join their dynamic team. We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Pharmacy assistants with a flexible working approach to deliver a high-quality patient-focused Pharmacy service.
You must be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, working independently and as part of a team. Providing mentoring and training to junior staff, you will provide a leading role within the team. The job is a busy and physically demanding role, and you will be expected to work to deadlines. You will also be involved in maintaining the Pharmacy Service to wards and departments on a rotational basis.
You will be required to work as part of our main dispensary team, delivering a high-quality dispensing service.
Within the Stores area you will ensure the safe and secure receipt and storage of medicines.
Within the Distribution area you will contribute to effective stock management at ward level by working within the topping up and distribution services.
There will be a requirement to participate in extended hours; including weekend working, bank holidays and late nights on a rotational basis.
