Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) in Huddersfield to support the dispensing process and stock management. You will work under a registered Pharmacist, handling prescriptions, stock deliveries, and ward deliveries to ensure patient safety and efficient service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of UK pharmacy experience, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months in a UK-based Pharmacy setting.
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent) and commitment to ongoing professional development.
Strong computer literacy for stock management systems and ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Support the dispensing process by accurately picking, labelling, and assembling prescriptions under supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
Manage stock requirements, including receipt of deliveries, rotation of medicines, and monitoring expiry dates to prevent wastage.
Adhere to SOPs and health and safety regulations to ensure accuracy and hygiene.
Facilitate efficient ward deliveries and provide frontline customer service to patients and staff.
