Job summary

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, Pharmacy department, is seeking dedicated staff to support medication supply and dispensing within a busy hospital setting. The role focuses on stock management, safe and efficient distribution of medicines to wards and patients, and assisting with reception duties; applicants should be prepared to work toward NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy services.

Hours are Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00, based at Harplands Hospital.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services.
• Experience in stock management or pharmacy operations is advantageous.
• Ability to dispense medications for inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Effective stock management of all pharmaceuticals.
• Safe and efficient supply and return of medication orders to wards.
• Dispensing medications for inpatients and outpatients.
• Carry out ATO duties including reception duties and ward communications.
