Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) in Huddersfield to support the dispensing process and stock management. You will work under a registered Pharmacist, handling prescriptions, stock deliveries, and ward deliveries to ensure patient safety and efficient service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of UK pharmacy experience, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in a UK-based Pharmacy setting.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent) and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong computer literacy for stock management systems and ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support the dispensing process by accurately picking, labelling, and assembling prescriptions under supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
• Manage stock requirements, including receipt of deliveries, rotation of medicines, and monitoring expiry dates to prevent wastage.
• Adhere to SOPs and health and safety regulations to ensure accuracy and hygiene.
• Facilitate efficient ward deliveries and provide frontline customer service to patients and staff.
