Asda Stores Ltd in Newport is seeking a Phamacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team. The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with afternoons, based in Newport.

You will support dispensing, customer care and pharmacy services in a busy retail healthcare environment. Asda will support your development, including completing an accredited course to become Medicines Counter Assistant within 6 months and progressing toward a Dispensing Assistant role while delivering friendly,

Qualifications

• Enhanced safeguarding check required for the role.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
• Responsible for assembling and processing prescriptions.
• Training to Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote and support pharmacy services (prescription collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support Pharmacist with patient services documentation and checks.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries for store collection.
