Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague in Hereford for part-time, permanent work. The role involves assembling and processing prescriptions, assisting with patient services and driving awareness of in-store pharmacy services.

You will complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress toward a Dispensing Assistant role, while supporting customers with warmth and a friendly approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to discuss personal health issues with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Proven communication skills and comfort helping customers find products.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail in processing prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and bring to the store for dispensing.
