Job summary

Circle Health Group in Carmarthen is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant for 37.5 hours per week in a permanent role within the Pharmacy department. Salary up to £27,300 depending on experience, training and qualifications; flexible shift pattern required.

The role involves assisting with preparation and labelling of medicines, stock control, deliveries, and data entry, working as part of a supportive team in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Good general education including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in customer service, healthcare, or stock-handling.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and labelling of medicines under supervision.
• Support safe supply of medicines, accurate picking/packing.
• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates in pharmacy and clinical areas.
• Receive and check deliveries and store medications securely.
• Assist with records, prescription tracking, and data entry.
• Maintain filing and organisation of medicine supply documentation.
