Job description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy is currently seeking an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to join as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Pontefract hospital pharmacy.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals, and Trust colleagues. Your duties will include dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions, stock ordering and management, invoicing and financing deliveries, as well as all other responsibilities associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.

Requirements:

• NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (Essential)
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Understanding of confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team

Working hours:

• Total Hours Contracted: 30
• Working Pattern (negotiable):
• Monday - 8 hours
• Wednesday - 8 hours
• Friday - 8 hours
• Saturday - 3 hours
• Sunday - 3 hours
