Job summary

Day Lewis Woodley is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join a high-volume, supportive team at Units 1 & 2, Loddon Vale Centre, Woodley, Reading. The role is 30 hours per week with potential for additional hours in the future, and offers hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy.

You’ll support dispensing, customer service and daily operations, gaining valuable insight under the guidance of the co-owner Pharmacist Manager.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Willing to learn in a busy environment
• Interest in a long-term career in healthcare/pharmacy
• No prior pharmacy experience required with training provided

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
• Support Pharmacist Manager and team with daily operations
• Provide excellent customer service at counter and on the phone
• Support NHS and private pharmacy services
• Build relationships with patients, GP surgeries and local healthcare professionals
• Maintain high standards of organisation, professionalism and compliance
• Contribute to a busy team focused on patient care
