Job summary

The WECARE Trust invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join our pharmacy team. The post holder will assist in dispensing inpatient and discharge medicines, manage stock and support the dispensary with accurate processing and dispensing of medication requests.

You will work closely with patient services and clinical pharmacy colleagues, promoting WECARE values and delivering safe, patient-centred care within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispending inpatient and discharge medicines.
• Support dispensary team with processing and dispensing medication requests.
• Contribute to bulk medication supplies to wards and departments.
• Promote WECARE values within the department and across the trust.
