About the Role

We are an independent award-winning pharmacy with an easy-going, friendly, and professional team. We have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic full-time pharmacy dispenser/assistant to join us. You will need to have previous pharmacy experience, ideally including an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course along with a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Tier 2 sponsorship is available.

The position will be full-time Mon-Sat, for our Pharmacy based in Colindale, NW9.

• You will be part of a team, helping patients feel good. It’s everything from the clear advice and care you offer them, to the wide ranges of dispensing services we provide.
• To provide fantastic patient care, you will work across the counter and the dispensary to where the patients need you most.

• You will be providing healthy lifestyle advice and health services to our patients through great conversations as well as delivering the technical aspects of the supply of medicines.
• This is often a fast-paced environment in which you will interact with many different people and will be a core member of the pharmacy and healthcare team.

Main Duties

• Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
• Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
• Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice as per company guidelines.
• Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to drive services and items.
• Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.
• We offer a competitive hourly rate as per your experience, 20 days holiday (for full time), staff discount, pension & excellent training.
