Job summary

skills4group is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Kent to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

You will complete the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, typically over 15 months, with blended learning and guided hours. Pay starts at £8 per hour.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (Maths and English) desirable; training provided if needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support with prescription preparation under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure great customer service.

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Key duties include:

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries

• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
