Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Kidlington is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support daily operations, assist customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided.

This role offers hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification, and the ability to earn while you learn in a retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred; not required to have prior pharmacy experience as full training is provided.
• You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
