Job summary

Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role in Stone offers hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy while you train toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship. You'll support day-to-day running, help customers at the counter and learn prescription handling under supervision.

The apprenticeship lasts about 15 months, with blended learning and full training provided. You will work within opening hours, including potential overtime, and maintain high standards of customer service

Working Week: 30 hours within opening hours of pharmacy, possibility of overtime

Brief Description

ST15 8YE. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
