Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will help customers at the medicines counter, support the pharmacy team and gain hands-on experience while working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship (blended learning) over around 15 months, with full training and support provided alongside your day-to-day role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (4-9) in Maths and English desired.
• Maths and English Level 2 tests may be required if not present.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.

Brief Description

KT3 4ET. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
