Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in the UK seeks a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience while working toward a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full support and supervision. No prior pharmacy experience is required, and you will handle prescriptions and customer queries daily.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English; provided if needed as part of the course.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship training will be completed during employment.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.

This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
