Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join our busy community pharmacy team in Braintree. You will gain hands-on experience while working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.

You will help customers at the medicines counter, assist with prescription preparation under supervision, manage stock and records, and ensure a clean, safe working environment while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided as part of the course.
• Applicants without Maths and English Level 2 may be offered employment on condition of completing initial tests to determine suitability for the course.
• You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with training and support provided.

Brief Description

CM7 3JN We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
