Job summary

Keighley Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and engage with customers. You will study for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.

Key duties include helping customers at the counter, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, managing stock, and using pharmacy systems to process orders. The role offers hands-on learning in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential, can be provided via the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Working Week: Mon To Fri 8am -9pm Sat 11am 4pm

Brief Description

BD20 0DG. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
