Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is hiring a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Coventry. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training.

You will learn dispensing processes under supervision, handle stock and maintain accurate records while delivering excellent customer service in a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C (or 4-9) in Maths and English preferred; part of the course can be provided.
• Maths/English Level 2 required where not already held; tests may determine suitability.

Responsibilities

• Help customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and keep records updated.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
