This is an exciting role involving engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, and housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and replenishment. The role includes helping to deliver various public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English are desired but not essential, as these can be provided as part of the course. Applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications will be offered employment on the condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to assess suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
This role offers experience in retail, knowledge of over-the-counter medicines, assistance in dispensing prescription medicines, stock ordering, customer advice on over-the-counter medication, and support with minor ailments.
