Job Overview: Full-time permanent role for the right person with potential for further training such as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship.

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Dispensing of medication to patients
• Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
• Checking and monitoring prescription slips
• Health & Safety Responsibility
• Stock Rotation
• Use of pharmacy software
• Data Entry related to medication
• Labelling and Dispensing
• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Working within a team environment

Qualifications Included:

• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Standard qualification
• Functional Skills in English and Maths if required
• Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• End-Point Assessment (EPA)
• In-house training

Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 9.00am-9.00pm. Saturday & Sunday will be required on a rota, with days off during the week provided if working weekends.
