Skills4Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in the UK. Earn while you learn, working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

You will engage with customers, assist with prescriptions under supervision, and develop skills in stock control, using pharmacy systems and delivering great service.

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English are desirable but not essential.

About the course

Brief Description

DY5 3AP We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Key duties include:

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
