Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Ashby-de-la-Zouch offers an Apprenticeship as a Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2. The role involves engaging with customers to provide prescription counter services, advice, stock rotation and replenishment, and assisting with dispensing under supervision.

Training is provided as part of the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 course, with opportunities to gain hands-on retail experience and learn about over-the-counter medicines while working in a supportive team

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as part of the course.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work as part of a busy retail/pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide prescription counter services and advice.
• Carry out housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment.
• Assist with dispensing and general pharmacy tasks under supervision.
