Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and assist customers at the counter. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

You will gain hands-on experience in prescription preparation under supervision, stock management, and use of pharmacy systems, while delivering high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training is provided.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is not held, tests determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy.
• Assist with prescription preparation and supply under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality.
• Provide excellent customer service as part of a team.
